Brief:
Panfan is crêperie house specialising in pancakes and waffles. They serve breakfast and lunches that cater to parties, events and office and corporate lunches. After creating the logo and brand identity plus a website for them, they requested me to design their primary shop front signage, as well as menus that would be produced as window vinyls and in-store wall menus. They requested that I utilise the brown from the brand colors as the main background colour for the menus.
Solution:
I designed a simple shop front sign for them, incorporating panfan symbols as elements. In terms of menu design, the major goal was to push Panfan’s colour forward and produce a menu that customers and passers-by could read. There was enough of space surrounding the text, and simple alignments and colour coordination made it easy for the final reader to focus on the items and read them. Panfan’s brand colours are also promoted by the colours utilised, and this consistency can be duplicated across all of their media.
