Brief:
Cheeky Champs is a stay & play, activity and party centre for kids. The client had asked us to create a logo with a wow factor, something that immediately would make people realise this place is for kids and its main theme is based around tropical jungle environment.
Solution:
As this was a place aimed at kids, I had to ensure it was going to be attractive for them. I utilized eight different creatures in a tropical forest setting. After conducting research into which animals children enjoy the most, the animals were chosen. After a 15-item shortlist, I reduced it down to these eight. Everything, from the colours to the typeface, was designed to resemble a jungle environment. I also employed a variety of animals in one scenario to emphasise the need of learning to live in harmony with others. I chose yellow for the writing because it would stand out against the background. Yellow is also the colour of sunshine and is linked to feelings of joy, happiness, intelligence, and vigour.
