Richmond Hill Trading

Brief:
Richmond Hill Trading is a proprietary trading firm based in Australia, with representatives and offices in Switzerland and the United Kingdom. We were initially asked to create a custom design website for their UK offices. They had toyed with the idea of creating a new identity as they felt it was the time for a brand overhaul. Their request was that the identity should be simple, timeless, and appropriate and stand for the values of their company.

Solution:
I was instructed to remember the adjectives that best characterised their company’s core principles. The words avant-garde, peak, stability, pinnacle, positive, consummate, and innovators were used to describe them. The colour scheme and typeface were also chosen to convey the same concept. The final design was contemporary, one-of-a-kind, and industry-related.
